Online Shopping Fails
[Blog!-November 2010]

I’ve decided that I’m not going to shop online anymore. Unless I find something I really really like or a great deal that I just can’t miss. When I say I’m not going to shop online anymore I mean for Indian clothes. I don’t want to miss out on the fun of actually trying the clothes on and being able to touch the fabric. Indian clothes are better just bought in person. However, if you don’t have any sari shops in your area then this becomes a serious problem. If you really need something you either have to travel far or resort to the internet.

Another reason to buy clothes in person is to avoid having the same outfit as someone else! If you browse through all the different websites that sell clothes you will easily notice that many and most of them sell the same stuff! It’s not only boring but annoying as well. Not to mention, it’s embarrassing if you go to a party and share the outfit with someone else.

Once I saw a sari online and later saw someone wearing that exact same sari! I was shocked of course. Good thing I don’t own one of those mass-produced outfits myself!
