Legendary filmmaker, B.R. Chopra, died on Wednesday in Mumbai at the age of 95. He was the winner of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award. His son, producer and director Ravi Chopra said he not only lost his father but his guru. Chopra died at his residence in Juhu.
He had made successful films including, but not limited to, Naya Daur, Humraaz, Dhundh, Insaaf Ka Tarazoo, and Nikah. The filmmaker is also survived by his two daughters Shashi and Neena. His funeral will be held next Wednesday at 4:30 pm.
